About SNMA
*Sree Narayana Mission Adelaide (SNMA)* was established to promote the universal teachings of Sree Narayana Guru and to serve the spiritual, cultural, and social needs of the community in Adelaide, Australia.
Before the formal establishment of SNMA, a few devoted families began organising prayer gatherings in their homes. The very first prayer meeting was held on 22 September 2012. From that year onward, more families joined, and gradually every member family hosted monthly prayer meetings in their homes, strengthening unity and spiritual fellowship within the community.
The founding members who initiated the first prayer gathering were:
- Jaymol Rajendra Prasad
- Krishna Prasad Cherayaramal
- Kirosh Ponnambil
- Sunil Kamalasanan
- Anil Kamalasanan
In 2022, SNMA was officially registered as a nonprofit community organisation in Australia. The Mission operates with transparency, accountability, and responsible governance in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Established by devoted members with a shared vision of unity and equality, SNMA provides a platform for prayer, cultural preservation, and community service.
The organisation is guided by its core values of equality, unity, spiritual growth, service to humanity, integrity, and cultural preservation. These principles shape and direct all activities and programs of the Mission.
Over the years, Sree Narayana Mission Adelaide has achieved several meaningful milestones, including:
- Establishment of regular prayer gatherings and spiritual programs
- Annual celebration of Onam and Vishu through vibrant cultural festivals
- Growth in membership and active community participation
- Launch of an official website to connect members and share activities.
Each milestone reflects the Mission’s continuing commitment to growth, service, and spiritual unity.
